Small brown bird
By Trinity Nystrom I wonder how many poems have been written about you How many people have you inspired You move fast and frantic like a frightened rabbit Observing the world at high speed I wonder how many things you have seen, secrets you have uncovered I hope to fly someday, However, I prefer the slow pace I wonder if you are wiser than most or if I just hope you are It would be nice to know that someone has the answers Maybe you are just as clueless as me I hope to meet you again someday In a place above the trees you can tell me of the things and places you’ve seen A future friend, Trinity N.
